We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Email delivery and service providers

This website has no database of its own. When you submit a form, the details you entered are sent to EmailJS, a service that delivers them to our Google (Gmail) mailbox and, for registrations, sends your confirmation email to you. EmailJS may keep delivery logs. We use Zoom to deliver live sessions, and a hosting provider to serve this website.

These providers process information on our behalf and only to provide their service. They have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.

5. International transfers

We serve clients in the United States, Ghana and the United Kingdom, and our providers operate in these and other countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside the country where you live. We choose providers that apply security safeguards, send them only what is needed, and, where UK or Ghanaian law requires it, rely on an appropriate transfer mechanism.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep registration and enquiry records only for as long as needed to run the programme, handle administration and meet legal obligations. After that we delete or anonymise them. If you opted in to news about future programmes, we keep your contact details until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information or restrict how we use it;
  • object to our use of your information, including for direct marketing;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before; and
  • receive your information in a portable format where that right applies.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

By region

  • United Kingdom: under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the rights above, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
  • Ghana: under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you can complain to the Data Protection Commission.
  • United States: depending on your state, you may have the right to know, access, correct and delete your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. You will not be treated unfairly for using these rights.

If you are elsewhere, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.

8. How we protect your information

  • The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and form data is sent to our email provider over that connection.
  • A strict content security policy limits what the website can load and where it can send data.
  • The forms check and clean what you type, and use several measures against automated abuse.
  • The website runs no advertising or tracking scripts, and does not load fonts or code from third-party servers.
  • Access to the mailbox that receives registrations is limited to our team.

No online service is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Children

This website and our services are designed for organisations and adults. The website is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Links to other sites

This website links to services such as WhatsApp and social media platforms. When you follow a link, that service's own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will say so on this website.
